Kingman - St. Patrick

Message from Pastor

St. Patrick is one of the best elementary schools in Kansas. With the help of The Drexel Fund, we are able to provide our students with the best curriculum and the best opportunities for success. Our dedication and support of Catholic education plant seeds in fertile soil, which will allow and does allow our students to flower in a challenging world. Our school is an invaluable part of our parish because our students and school continue to add life to our parish and to the Kingman community.

Fr. Benjamin Shockey

What makes us special

St. Patrick provides a positive religious atmosphere in which children can grow in the love of God and neighbor as they achieve educational excellence.

Things we like to brag about

  • In addition to our numerous academic awards, we have been named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.  This ranks our school in the top 1/2% in the country!
  • Principal Bob Lyall was named one of the nation's Terrel H. Bell Award recipients.  This distinction places Mr. Lyall as one of the top eight principals in the country. Several of our teachers have also won diocesan teaching awards!

What The Drexel Fund means for us

At St. Patrick we believe that all students, no matter their income, should be allowed the opportunity for academic success in a Catholic learning environment.  The money we receive from The Drexel Fund helps us achieve this goal and we plan to use this year's funds for:

    • New technology
    • Books
    • Staff salaries
    • Support for all student needs

Our Wish List

  • New religion textbooks
  • Upgrading technology infrastructure
  • Raising teacher salaries
