Independence - St. AndrewSt. Andrew, Independence

Message from Pastor

I truly believe that a Catholic education provides greater opportunity to our children. They not only excel in academics, but most importantly, our Catholic education helps our youth to have a personal encounter with Christ! And that cannot be done without your generosity and sacrificial donations to our Drexel Fund. Thank you for supporting this fund and for supporting all those who attend Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Wichita. Please continue making those monetary sacrifices for the good of our future students, so that they continue receiving Catholic education.

Here in Independence, Kansas, we are very proud to have a Catholic school that serves not only people from here, but from Fredonia, Cherryvale, and other parts of this side of Kansas. Your donations make a difference for the future of our school. May the Lord continue blessing your generous heart.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Marco De Loera

    • the Community Christmas Dinner
    • Multiple Sclerosis
    • a Rwandan Mission trip
    • the local National Guard Unit who deployed to Afghanistan
    • the Midwest Pregnancy Center
    • our parish Stained Glass Window Fund
    • The Drexel Fund

What the Drexel Fund means for us

  • Hire teachers for music and technology for Kindergarten through 8th grade
